Since last post (yes, i missed Tuesday...more to be continued) I have had a very interesting week. 7 days. 7 nights. 7 strange events. Forgive 70 x 7. 70%. 7 Wonders of the world. 7 Years of famine. 7-11.....
I. The Dragons smashed the poor lil' Lightning, but that wasn't the strange part. My " 5'6" " kid, had two jacked up events, one with each parent. First, his dad came to me while the kids were lining up and asked if Lake (his kid) could run with these kids (meaning my starters). Maybe he doesn't understand how Upward works but please explain to me how he feels his, who is in first grade, should start every game? The second thing was Lake's mother. She looked 21, thus making her pregnant at 14...very possible
II. I went to the library on Sunday afternoon planning to study for a couple of hours. Instead, i took a 2 1/2 hour nap...at the library and got no work done!
III. Saturday I had Little Caesar's Pizza. They had a sign on the door saying that they no longer sell the Large one topping pizza's for $5, they are $5.50 because the price of cheese had risen. Thats weird because your pizza is so popular, everyone else had to compete so most companies (who have better pizza) have some type of medium pizza for $5. Yet, YOU RAISE THE PRICE? Milk is the same price, string cheese is the same price and cows still get milked for the same price...smells like a nice cup of bs to me.
IV. I punched a dog in his face. He tried to wake me up so I socked em.
V. The reason for my failed post on Tuesday was the UK/Vandy game. John, Colby and myself headed down about 1 o'clock, right after class so I had no way of accessing the internet. Needless to say UK's 11 point halftime performance made me feel even more guilty. And i paid 40 bucks for a ticket. And i slept on the floor. And i sat in the back seat even tho I'm at least a head taller than John & Colby. And our host's roommate was a motormouth. And UK lost by 41. And we missed breakfast at McD's by 15 mins so I had a double cheese at 11 o 'clock. And i am 0-2 on UK away games this year.
VI. I took a logic test and I guessed an over half the test. LOGIC! It is a class mainly to completely confuse. The questions were not logical at all.
VII. Some guy I hardly know gave me a free $500 cell phone. Honestly, He works at Solid Platinum (Although I don't know him thro there). His name is Dave. And he has a thick Abe Lincoln-esk beard. That's prob the extent I know of him, yet he gave me a $500 phone? Woah.
Great week overall

I feel for you - while I have never punched a dog in his face THAT IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS!!! I have kicked a cat though, and thrown one (a cat) over a balcony.
oh, mistakes of the past...
on a side note:::: Jeremy - I hope Lake's mom and dad don't stumble upon this blog.
Here is LOGIC for ya:
Jeremy Hobbs is no longer allowed to go to any of UK's away games, regardless of the sport.
I'm just playing. But seriously.
P.S. Little Caesar's = Very funny. You forgot to mention the other customer who was there. Remember his shirt?
What's your rule on skips, again? Two, total?..or something like that. Use them wisely, Mr. Hobbs.
Although I suppose a UK game is a kind of legit excuse. :)
3 skips. But this does not count! I had no way of knowing!
I feel like you should have planned better. just kidding, but seriuosly...
what an awesome game!
Tsk, tsk...excuses, excuses, Jeremy! ;)
